The position

 

As a Senior Associate II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our financial processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing monthly reviews of SOX & minimum controls across PP&E, Month-End, CBS, and SOD processes.
  • Conducting sample-based control testing and ensuring timely sign-off in Assurance Connect.
  • Creating a control framework that establishes health checks and a secondary line of defence for core operational processes.
  • Providing constructive feedback to control performers and reviewers to enhance control quality.
  • Conducting end-to-end process risk assessments covering AP, Procurement, PP&E, Month-End, CBS, and SOD processes.
  • Identifying financial and operational risks and documenting key controls via ICQs.
  • Supporting continuous updates to process risk documentation.
  • Supporting business and operations teams in implementing new controls and improving existing ones.
  • Addressing source data, IUC (Information Used in Controls), and technical issues affecting control reliability.
  • Assisting in preparing control deficiency memos and liaising with HQ Internal Controls.
  • Coordinating with Group Internal Audit (GIA) on design reviews, TOE (Testing of Effectiveness), and year-end audits.
  • Acting as a central point of contact for both internal and external auditors (e.g., Deloitte).
  • Ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and facilitating evidence gathering.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CA qualification would be a strong asset
  • 4+ years of experience within an accounting/economy function from a larger organisation.
  • Deep level of understanding of internal control frameworks
  • Expertise in complex risk assessment methodologies and compliance management
  • Strong command of ERP systems (preferably SAP S4/Hana) and proficiency in data analysis tools
