About the department
Finance Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Commercial Analytics, Financial Planning & Analytics for Head Quarters at Denmark, Region Europe, North America, International Operations & Global Service Centre Bangalore. Commercial Analytics is part of Finance GBS and was founded in June 2013 with the idea of establishing a team consisting of dedicated analytics professionals to provide the best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.
The position
As a Senior Associate II, you will have the opportunity to:
- Take complete ownership of deliverables from end-to-end, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Utilize your strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze pharmaceutical data, including sales, market, cost, and promotional data. Stay up to date on the latest economic trends in relevant markets.
- Drive, execute, and deliver Salesforce/Fieldforce related activities, such as segmentation, goal/target setting, territory alignment, call planning, sales crediting, incentive compensation, and payroll processes for all therapeutic areas.
- Proactively investigate plans in deep dive to share ideas, suggestions, and insights with the business and leadership for healthy engagement.
- Independently take on new adhoc tasks in line with frontline activities to help improve business and insource external spending on these portfolios.
- Experience in project management, stakeholder management, Data Ingestion, reporting and Metrics Computation and Reconciliation.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s/Master’s/Engineering Degree from a well-recognized institute.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with consulting experience being a must.
- Experience in Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) capabilities, such as segmentation, targeting, call planning, territory alignments/deployment, goal setting, and incentive compensation, in the pharma domain.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA, and a strong hold on Microsoft Office products.
- Working level knowledge of IQVIA databases, MIDAS datasets, BI tools, various pharma datasets, and Tableau.
- Knowledge of statistics tools and Javelin systems.
