About the Department

Finance Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Commercial Analytics, Financial Planning & Analytics for headquarters in Denmark, Region Europe, North America, International Operations & Global Service Centre Bangalore. Commercial Analytics is part of Finance GBS and was founded in June 2013 with the idea of establishing a team consisting of dedicated analytics professionals to provide the best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service and partnership experience to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.

 

The Position

As a Senior Associate II at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:

Understanding to work on International Reference pricing. Provide accurate results to Stakeholders which may include pricing information. Understand the complexity of Pricing system across different regions. Working on Price business cases, price certificates.

  • Support ad-hoc tasks/projects when requested. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports.

  • Ensure superior customer satisfaction by delivering high-end quality support. Ability to grasp complex processes and mitigate challenges in operations.

  • Use strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze Pharma pricing-related data. Generate clear, concise, and business-relevant reports and insights.

  • Independently execute tasks/projects with minimal supervision. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business requirements and execute the key projects related to strategic pricing

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute. Undergraduate degree in Pharma (BPharm), Science/Biotechnology (BSc), Engineering (BTech).
  • Good academic track records and grades. Good to have: Knowledge of Health Economics and Statistics tools.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Pharma industry especially in Pharma Pricing & Market Access
  • Ability to translate business problems into the most efficient and effective analysis plan; execute the analysis including data pull, and data preparation.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders, primarily with internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analyzing complex situations, collecting data, and effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture in a Pricing & Market Access environment.
  • Solid project management and relationship-builder skills to overcome complex and multidimensional business challenges.
  • Technical skills – Advanced level knowledge of Advanced Excel, VBA & PowerPoint. Working level knowledge of IMS MIDAS database. Knowledge of SAP (Business Warehouse or Business Objects) Conceptual, analytical & tactical thinking, strategic thought process. Good listening and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven history of working and delivering on multiple projects simultaneously, with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
