The Position

As a Sr. Associate Global Communication Lead, you will act as communication partner for the obesity therapy area. Responsible for shaping global communication strategies and identifying opportunities that drive awareness of the therapy area internally. Excellent stakeholder management and working through complex governance to ensure dissemination of aligned communication across Novo Nordisk functions and across geographies.

 

  • Developing and co-leading internal communication strategies across the obesity therapy area.

  • Developing and co-leading communication plans with tactics for internal engagement and awareness across the obesity therapy area.

  • Ensuring communications alignment and consistency across all obesity therapy area communication.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across functions and geographies.

 

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree preferably in communication, journalism, marketing, or public relations. from a well-recognized institute (Not a prerequisite, however an advantage).

  • 10+ years of working experience within the area of corporate communication, with documented results from a wide range of communication disciplines.

  • Experience within healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry is a plus but not a pre-requisite.

  • Experience in working within a communication strategy & implementation of communication tactics.

  • Experience in multinational organization and/or consultancy with demonstrated understanding of how communication can help drive business performance and collaboration

  • Journalistic flair, a good pen and a good eye for design i.e. experience with writing & designing of written materials & slides.

  • Experience in developing compelling and engaging internal communication campaigns.

  • Strong content writing skills.

  • Experience in consulting and training senior management in relation to leadership communication and building reputation.

  • Strong team collaboration with internal & external stakeholders.

  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc.

  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is a must.

You will join the Commercial, GBS, Obesity Marketing team, specifically within the Global Communications team.
