About the department

Global IT GBS was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global IT in HQ. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 800+ employees till date. The main role of Global Information Security is to safe guard Novo Nordisk from all the internal and external threats and thus securing Novo Nordisk. 


The position

As a Security Advisor/ Advanced Service Analyst, you will be acting as a single point of entry to Global Information Security and will be responsible for assisting Novo Nordisk users with any of their queries related to security. You will work as a liaison between end users and rest of information security colleagues. The role will be responsible for shaping the future of mailbox by using automation techniques (Chat bots or similar).


In addition, you are responsible for Security Dispensation and will have high interaction level with IT Security team in IN, DK, US and Customers at all levels of the organization. You are expected to work as a business partner and translate business needs into security requirement and taking it forward to Security Management.

You will handle GISP dispensation requests and will be decision Authority to approve and reject.


You will record/Approve manage It Security exceptions for IT Security controls. It is also expected for you to work independently with various departments and vendors when it comes to topics related to Information Security. You will also be working on various Information Security projects along with other colleagues.



  • Bachelor or similar graduate degree field in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration combined with additional relevant IT and business experience.
  • 7+ years of  IT experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Service/Change/Release/Project Management
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes
  • Basic knowledge on Security Tools and technologies
  • Keen to learn and excel in Security landscape
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily with IT Security, Infrastructure and end users
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
