The position
As a Project Associate at Novo Nordisk, you will be involved in management of Coupa process and 1st line invoice review. You will also have the opportunity to:
- Manage the Coupa process, including creating suppliers in Coupa, following up to ensure suppliers are created, receiving relevant contracts, and submitting requisitions for PO creation.
- Submit approved invoices for payment, ensuring accurate data assignment, including PO number and cost center allocation.
- Address and resolve invoice issues communicated by the AP team and track the payment of submitted invoices.
- Provide the Legal Ops team with the status of invoices and payment schedules as needed to respond to external inquiries.
- Review all submitted invoices in the Legal Tracker system and partner with Legal Operations to address invoice issues, reductions, and rejections related to non-compliance with Billing Guidelines.
- Maintain a high degree of communication and interaction with Legal & Compliance stakeholders across North America Operations.
- Interact with stakeholders at different levels within the Law department, requiring the ability to work and communicate effectively with people from diverse cultures and organizational levels.
- Regularly interact with stakeholders to provide status updates on ongoing invoicing, payments, and tasks.
- Prepare necessary documents and reports, including analysis inputs for stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Computer Application or Equivalent Qualification
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience.
- Experience in Coupa.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts payable activities
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Project coordination activities
- Good knowledge of MS office applications
- Good experience of generating various reports
- Excellent in written and spoken English,
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is a quick learner
- Proactive and creative with attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize quickly,
- Result oriented and organized - schedules and meet deadlines.
