About the department
People Operations GBS is part of Global People and Organisation (GP&O), responsible for global functions like Employee Data Management (EDM), Total Rewards, Global Mobility, GxP training, Master Data Management, Reporting and Analytics. People Operations GBS plays a key role in driving a Global P&O strategy. The department is known for its collaborative and dynamic atmosphere, with team members working closely together to achieve common goals. The job is based at our headquarters, where you will be part of a vibrant and supportive team.
The position
As a Manager in EDM team, you are responsible for ensuring the quality of EDM HR services from Hire to retire and position Management across regions. This includes, driving quality management across EDM and ensuring implementation of solutions based on root cause analysis from data quality. Further, you add value by developing and implementing QC processes and standards by reviewing of tasks, internal quality checks and conduct knowledge sharing.
Similarly, you are required to monitor and track progress of annual objectives and long-term targets and assist Head of Department in estimation and planning of resources.
You will successfully lead the QC team, provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching to ensure the team's effectiveness and professional development. You also foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the QC team to enhance data management practices. The job is anchored in Bangalore, India. Travel may be necessary based on specific requirements.
Other areas of responsibility include data integrity, compliance, process improvement, metrics and reporting, cross-functional collaboration, risk mitigation, change management, and vendor management.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Overall 10+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in related quality processes which includes internal quality checks, managing QC processes.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a people management role.
- Functional competencies in Employee Data Management is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of service management.
- Direct, assertive and clear communication skills.
- Flexibility in time and approach.
- Experience in standardization of processes, simplification, and agile methodologies.
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
- Self-driven and dedicated with a desire to influence.
- Good ambassador of the Novo Nordisk way.
