About the department
Finance Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Commercial Analytics, Financial Planning & Analytics for Head Quarters at Denmark, Region Europe, North America, International Operations & Global Service Centre Bangalore. Commercial Analytics is part of Finance GBS and was founded in June 2013 with the idea of establishing a team consisting of dedicated analytics professionals to provide the best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.
The position
As a Manager -Contract Operations at Novo Nordisk, you will:
Highest degree in Operations and process excellence, highest degree in driving efficiencies, high degree in leadership demonstration and high Degre of Analytical strength.
Contract Operations is a broad area which cuts across pharmaceutical value chain. Contract operations hub mitigates revenue risk through robust contract development and negotiations with payers. Ensures contract compliance through best-in-class business assurance.

The areas within Contract operations hub are Market Access | Formulary Validation | Patient Support Programs | Rebate Management | Government Contract and Operations.

Involved in strategic development to drive continuous improvements on supported business processes to comply with the Commercial Analytics strategy.

Improvements and drive analytical and consulting in designing and execution of projects. Good commercial knowledge from Pharma industry to add value to the business discussions and decisions.

Manage team by hiring the right talent and develop the internal talent as well to further collaborate with business. Ensure superior customer satisfaction by delivering high end quality support along with team.

Collaborate and ensure strong engagement within CA management team to achieve a common department goal.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

MBA, Graduation in Pharmacy, life science/ Engineering background.

Strong analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex situations and driving strategic projects and initiatives across multiple functions like Business Intelligence and Contract Operations.

Experience managing stakeholders across multiple geographies.

Good commercial knowledge of Pharma industry to add value to the business discussions and decisions. Must have: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred knowledge of US healthcare, Pharmacy Benefit Manager role in the US insurance market .

Plus, experience in leveraging LAAD data, IQVIA databases.

Empathetic leadership qualities to manage team with diverse perspectives. Excellent business writing and presentation skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence all levels of the business.
