As a Distribution & Logistics Professional, you will keep warehousing and distribution running accurately and compliantly across GL&D-owned warehouses. You will own clear, correct SOPs, manage scrapping and waste handling to GxP standards, resolve deviations and improve daily ways of working. Your precise, right-first-time work helps get Novo Nordisk products to affiliates and, ultimately, to people living with serious chronic diseases.

About the department
The GSC&BD GBS unit is in Bengaluru, India, with our headquarters in Denmark. We are focused on consolidating supply chain activities and driving performance improvement. As part of the Global Operational Planning team, our role involves continuous improvement of our operational planning processes and systems to ensure a balanced supply plan on a global scale. The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

The position

You will combine document ownership, operational execution and quality management to keep distribution accurate and audit-ready.

• Manage SOPs: drive the writing and review process, plan timelines and deliverables, proofread and edit for plain English and logic, and maintain templates and formatting to Novo Nordisk standards, supporting stakeholders to increase Right First Time.
• Manage scrapping: identify batches by storage age and remaining shelf life, coordinate with affiliates and HUM support on orders and donations, complete scrap documentation and close related transport-deviation actions.
• Manage waste handling: gather waste-handling documents for scrapped products, ensure traceability across document parts, and complete, sign and archive records to GxP requirements.
• Handle deviations: register and investigate warehouse deviations, prioritise and evaluate cases, oversee corrective and preventive actions, monitor trends and support reporting and escalation.
• Run weekly inventory counts and IDOC monitoring: complete weekly counts in alignment with key stakeholders, monitor IDOCs against business needs, act on known solutions and raise incidents to the support team when none exist.
• Drive continuous improvement and projects: strengthen warehousing and distribution quality with logistics managers, vendors and transport partners, deliver in-ternal and external training, act as key contact for warehouse projects and take part in cLEAN and new-warehouse implementation activities.

Qualifications:
We are looking for a structured, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working across cultures and turning complexity into clarity.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A bachelor's degree, or relevant certifications, within Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience working in a corporate company.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preparing SOPs, with solid technical-writing skills and the ability to proofread and edit others' documents in plain English.
• Demonstrated experience working across different cultures and managing stake-holders.
• Basic project management skills.
