Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your analytical and quality mindset, attention to detail and stakeholder skills can make a real difference? If so, join us in Bengaluru and help us build stable, future-ready operations that ultimately benefit millions of patients.
About the department
The GSC&BD GBS unit is in Bengaluru, India, with our headquarters in Denmark. We are focused on consolidating supply chain activities and driving performance improvement.
As part of the Global Logistics & Distribution (GL&D) operations team, we drive operational excellence across GL&D activities anchored in GBS, continuously improving processes and systems to support timely global product release.
The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, quality and continuous improvement.
The position
As a Logistics & Distribution Professional I, you will be central to handling GL&D Deviations (DV) and Change Requests (CR), supporting the transition of HQ tasks into our Global Business Services (GBS) hub, and strengthening our quality and documentation practices. You will combine operational execution with continuous improvement to ensure our processes are robust, transparent and scalable.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Handling assigned DV/CR cases in line with procedures and quality requirements – assessing, prioritising, documenting and following up to ensure timely closure, while coordinating stakeholder inputs and escalating risks where needed
- Supporting the transition and operational stabilisation of DV/CR and related quality tasks from HQ to GBS, executing against agreed process maps, capturing learnings and identifying practical improvements
- Writing, reviewing and updating SOPs, work instructions and templates – ensuring clarity, plain language and alignment with Novo Nordisk standards, while maintaining trackers and knowledge repositories
- Providing business oversight by monitoring case progress, lead times, overdue actions and trends, and delivering status updates, escalation inputs and decision support to management
- Preparing recurring and ad hoc reports, maintaining dashboards and converting data into clear insights for governance forums
- Driving project management, cLEAN, 3C/A3 and automation activities – identifying manual or repetitive steps for simplification, standardisation or AI-enabled automation
- Supporting RA statement preparations, Quality Monitoring Trend reporting and cross-functional collaboration with HQ, QA, warehouses, sites, planning and logistics stakeholders
Qualifications:
We are looking for a structured, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working across cultures and turning complexity into clarity.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Preferably a bachelor's degree with a relevant educational background in QA/QC, Logistics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience working in a corporate environment, ideally with exposure to deviation handling, change request handling, SOP preparation, technical writing, proofreading and editing in plain language
- Experience or knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry, supply chain, logistics, quality operations or GxP-regulated areas is preferred
- High proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio); experience with SAP, quality systems, dashboards or data reporting tools is an advantage
- Demonstrated experience working across cultures with strong stakeholder management skills, combined with basic project management, continuous improvement and process governance capabilities
