Your new role
As Senior HR Business Partner in our Global Business Services (GBS) HR team in Bangalore, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business priorities into people strategies that drive performance, engagement and long-term capability. You will operate in a global matrix, working closely with HQ stakeholders, HR Centres of Expertise and business leaders to deliver integrated HR solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Partnering with line management to develop workforce strategies, address talent gaps and enhance organisational effectiveness across the assigned business units
• Driving end to end employee life cycle and talent management processes by collaborating with business in a matrix setup.
• Driving change management initiatives, organisational design and development in close collaboration with leadership teams
• Leading the Organisational Development Plan (ODP) process and strategic workforce planning – identifying key positions, assessing successors and spotting talent for the future
• Coaching and challenging managers on leadership, performance management, employee development and diversity in leadership pipelines
• Analysing business unit data and industry benchmarks to identify trends and recommend solutions that improve performance, retention and employee experience
• Designing and implementing employee engagement initiatives and ensuring effective, transparent communication across the organisation
• Conducting investigations and advising managers on performance, disciplinary, conflict resolution and termination matters
• Collaborating with HR colleagues across Total Rewards, Talent Management, Learning and Global HR to deliver focused expertise that addresses business needs

You will join the GBS HR team based in Bangalore, supporting one of Novo Nordisk's most dynamic global hubs. Reporting to the Associate Director – HR Business Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how HR partners with the business – combining strategic insight with hands-on delivery to build an engaged, high-performing organisation.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a global, matrixed environment and brings both strategic perspective and practical execution. To succeed in this role, you will likely have:
• A Bachelor's degree, with a master’s degree in human resources management preferred
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 8 years in an HRBP role within a global, matrix-managed organisation
• A proven track record across organisation design and development, change management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and learning and development, with working knowledge of employment law
• Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills, paired with excellent facilitation and presentation capabilities
• The ability to influence without authority, challenge the status quo and operate with a hands-on, people-centric and results-driven mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), combined with resilience, diplomacy and the ability to navigate ambiguity
