Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Senior Global Project Manager to join our Real-World Evidence Operations team in the Regions & Operations Department of Global Medical Affairs, Global Business Services (GBS), based in Bangalore.

 

Job Description:

 

As a SGlobal Project Manager, Real-World Evidence, you will lead complex, global real-world evidence studies and non-interventional studies. You will be responsible for strategic planning, execution, and oversight of these projects, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality outcomes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement strategic frameworks for real-world evidence studies, aligning with global business objectives.
    • Identify and prioritize key research questions and study designs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and impactful real-world evidence strategies.
  • Project Management Excellence:
    • Lead and manage complex, global real-world evidence studies from initiation to closure.
    • Develop and implement robust project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Regulatory and Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GCP, ICH-GCP, GDPR) and ethical guidelines for real-world studies.
    • Collaborate with regulatory affairs to obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical operations, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and external partners.
    • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proactively address challenges and resolve conflicts to ensure project success.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Education: Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, health economics, epidemiology, statistics).
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management, clinical research, or real-world evidence.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex, global projects.
  • Deep understanding of real-world evidence methodologies and technologies.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines for clinical research and real-world evidence.
