About the Department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports BioPharma global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders.

 

The Position

The primary role of this position is to be responsible for updates and execution of subparts of the Novo Nordisk Global Commercial Capability Programme (GMAX+) as the Instructional Designer. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing instructional materials, incorporating instructional design principles and technologies. Your expertise in curriculum development and instructional strategies will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences.

 

Ultimately, your role will contribute to the success of learners by fostering their growth and development through well-designed and impactful instructional programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning journey of individuals. Here timely planning and proper execution of projects, which are initiated by the Head, and Project Lead, based on identified and agreed needs to fulfil objectives on departmental and/or project level(s) will be essential.

 

  • Instructional designer and creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content.
  • Working with subject matter experts and identifying target audience’s training needs.
  • Project management and developed detail projects plan inclusive projects matrices.
  • Defines project scope, goals to be reached, expected deliverables, stakeholder mapping, estimated cost and timeline for medium complexity projects in medium scale, and secures project approval as an expert in Instructional design.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management and Identifies and maps key stakeholders and makes the most of the information available to understand their needs and motivations.

 

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Instructional Design experience in the Corporate eLearning Industry and hands-on experience with eLearning development authoring tools (Storyline/Captivate/Rise 360).
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Digital Learning Industry and working with Learning Academies/Learning Management Systems.
  • Understanding of core commercial capabilities.
  • Experience in brand strategy & tactical plan development and implementation.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc. 
  • Strong content writing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing complex data-sets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.

 

Technical skills: It is important with prior digital learning knowledge.

  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology (8-10 years).
  • Instructional designing - Adult learning Principles/Theories.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
  • Ability to create graphical assets would be a plus.
  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard.
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
  • Ability to author eLearning using authoring tools (Storyline/Captivate/Rise 360 etc).
  • Previous experience with Qlik sense/PowerBI/Degreed is an advantage.
  • MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is a must.
  • Must be able to redesign courses, and develop entirely new courses or curriculums.
