We are looking for a Budget Manager to join our team in Bangalore, India, and help drive strategic objectives for Novo Nordisk’s Obesity portfolio. The position

As a Budget Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

    • Leading the complete budget management process for the Obesity and MASH Strategic Marketing & Projects team.
    • Acting as a financial partner to project managers, brand managers, and portfolio managers.
    • Managing general cost controlling, month-end closing, budget and forecast, and conducting financial analyses and presentations.
    • Preparing reports and co-leading budget presentations for senior management.
    • Planning and conducting regular follow-ups on budget status and creating project trackers.
    • Developing risk mitigation plans and templates for seamless budget planning during key budget periods.
    • Ensuring vendor management and leading budget processes such as AB and RE for Obesity.
    • Tracking project progress, aligning with internal stakeholders, and maintaining dashboards to report status to executive management.
    • Participating in executive management meetings and sharing strategic inputs during budget planning.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

    • Experience in stakeholder engagement and presenting complex financial statements at all levels of the organisation.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and maintain a can-do mindset. 
    • Curiosity and willingness to learn, with the ability to challenge existing ways of working. 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships. 
    • Strategic thinking and conceptualisation skills.
