The position

As a Global Project Lead – Commercial Excellence, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Shape and create the global brand planning approach for CVD, MASH, AD assets, and portfolio, ensuring a successful launch of the brand plan.
  • Lead and oversee the brand plan process for different TAS, assets, and indications, ensuring alignment with key markets.
  • Track and report on the global brand plan, identifying key areas for focus and improvement.
  • Manage the financial deliverables of the brand plan budget.
  • Develop relationships and engage with internal and external stakeholders for brand plan framework, strategy development, and execution.
  • Collaborate with key regions/markets to ensure optimal brand planning and consistent high-quality deliverables.
  • Lead the development of the brand plan and framework, from launch to brand optimization for additional indications and effectively lead cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to ensure optimized brand planning globally.




To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:

  • 9 - 12 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with specific experience in product launch or marketing/brand strategy.
  • Experience working with R&D, marketing, access, pharmaceutical products, or medical devices.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to set vision and execute plans.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset.
  • The ability to navigate and comply with relevant Novo Nordisk policies and SOPs.
  • High energy level, curiosity, and ambition.


About the department


The Commercial – GBS unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial – GBS. This includes Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning, and Commercial Operations. The department also supports BioPharma global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. Located in Bangalore, India, our team is dynamic and fast-paced, working together to make a difference in the lives of patients worldwide.
