About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations.

In the Diabetes GLP-1 and MNIAD area, we are a passionate team helping millions of people with diabetes achieve better health outcomes through innovative medicines and solutions. We drive and execute projects across a strong portfolio comprising of both launch and life-cycle management brands.

 

The position

You will join the Rybelsus® global marketing team, driving strategic brand responsibilities and Support and/or drive tactics as defined in the global brand strategy and Drive the global Multichannel Engagement (MCE) strategy for Rybelsus® and provide guidance to affiliates on implementation of their local MCE plans. International travel will be required for 5-10 days a year.

 

These responsibilities include:

 

  • Prepare analytical dashboards to report on MCE campaign performance and provide inputs to continuously improve the performance of KPIs.
  • Develop congress/conference content strategy for Rybelsus® in close collaboration with other team members and other Novo Nordisk brands. Prepare congress/conference materials, including MCE to support hybrid congress/conference set-up.
  • Drive and improve vendor management, mainly related to MCE and congress/conference related deliverables.
  • Certification and recertification of promotional material based on already approved core stories.
  • Secure project & brand deliverables are met within allocated budget.
  • Analysis of market insights and performance data.
  • Support execution of market research when required (Including qualitative and quantitative) and impart practice sharing amongst affiliates.

 

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (B.Sc), Engineering (B.Tech). Master’s Degree (preferably within Marketing) from a well-recognized institute
  • 6+ years of overall experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical Marketing/Sales/Brand Management/Project Management, with at least 3+ years of experience in Product/brand marketing and MCE related tactics.
  • Strong experience in planning & execution of the Multichannel Engagement (MCE) strategy.
  • Proven experience in working with HCP engagement and/or KOL engagement.
  • Experience in brand strategy & tactical plan development and implementation.
  • Strong collaboration with brand teams, affiliate teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc. 
  • Strong content writing skills.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex datasets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is a must.
