About the Department

The Commercial & Corporate affairs department is responsible for creating insights to launch a product, market intel, forecasting, Global Brand Strategy & Tactics. Comprising of Project Management, Brand Management, Brand Communications, Life cycle Management of a product. In the Diabetes Commercial Unit, we are a passionate team helping 26+ million people with diabetes achieve better health through superior products and solutions. We drive the commercial strategy across a strong portfolio of both launch and life-cycle management products.

 

The Position

This position will be accountable for the implementation of brand marketing strategies and achieving business objectives related to Smart Insulin pens. Responsible for developing and implementing marketing initiatives to help achieve brand goals in line with the commercial strategy of Smart Insulin pens. Also, responsible for developing MCE related assets in the Novo Nordisk MCE ecosystem. Contributes to overall strategy (smart insulin pens and portfolio of Digital Health solutions) and develops relevant tactics and related support materials. Drives localisation and facilitates the uptake of brand strategies and marketing tactics in different affiliate countries.

 

Some of the important tasks are listed below

  • Develop and implement marketing deliverables (including promotional and training materials, content for congresses, internal and external websites, MCE campaigns, etc.) to drive the adoption and usage of smart insulin pens together with compatible apps and in-clinic solutions.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including insulin brand teams, regional and local affiliates and external partners to support the commercialization of smart insulin pens.
  • Build and maintain trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances inside and outside of the organization, focused on addressing key business issues, objectives, and processes.
  • Obtain budget and project management responsibility for commercial projects related to smart insulin pens and deliver projects/tasks within budget parameters.
  • Proactively manage promotional budget planning and develop project plans for larger/more complex projects and implement them according to the project plan. Also, monitor and facilitate regular post-launch meetings and KPIs with the affiliates related to their smart Insulin pen launches.

 

Qualification & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required; MSc or MBA degree is preferred.
  • Good academic track record and grade.
  • 6+ years in Sales/Brand management/Marketing/Project Management/ Healthcare market research related experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, strong project management skills, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communication and develop storylines for presentations etc.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (pivot etc.) and MS Word is a must. Experience working on multichannel and omnichannel marketing would be considered as an asset.
