About the department

Global Medical Affairs (GMA), Bangalore, an extension of the Global Medical Affairs team in Headquarters in Denmark, is based out of Global Service Centre (GSC), Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated medical advisors, project managers and Publication Manager supporting Head Quarter, regions and affiliates across the world.

The position

The primary role of this position is responsibility for developing technically accurate, high quality and corporate visual identity compliant materials for internal and external medical communication. Your key responsibilities will be create or format PowerPoint, Word, Excel documents used for internal and external medical communication based on inputs from Global Medical Affairs team. You also have to create brochures, infographic reports, posters and presentations for a range of internal and external medical communication based on inputs from Global Medical Affairs team.

 

    Qualifications

  • We expect you to hold the below skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering
  • Graphical design background with a solid understanding of medical communication
  • Prerequisites to master the job are experience from the medical communications/pharmaceutical industry
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of graphical design experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology and medical illustration principles. 3D Studio Max experience desired. Scanning and digital photography experience helpful
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Collaborative skills to work closely with seniors and onshore teams
  • Great progress reporting skills at every stage of the design process
  • Methodical approach to archiving images and artwork
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
