About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. In the Diabetes GLP-1 area, we are a passionate team helping millions of people with diabetes achieve better health outcomes through innovative medicines and solutions. We drive and execute projects across a strong portfolio comprising of both launch and life-cycle management brands.

 

The Position

The primary role of this position is to work to ensure the future success of IcoSema by initiating, shaping and leading business critical projects primarily related to digital MCE strategy and tactics, development of tactical brand plan, lead IcoSema on congress hub as well as support brand projects, mostly related to digital. The owner of position should also set direction, develop skills set, coach and guide the global Marketing team within Digital and MCE.

 

A summary of key responsibilities:

  • Strategy & tactics development and implementation.
  • Congress hub strategy, planning and coordination.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Affiliate communication and cross-functional cooperation.
  • Financial management related to digital projects and digital strategy and related projects.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or above (preferably within Marketing) from a well-recognized institute.
  • Fluency in written and oral English.
  • 8+ years of overall experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical Marketing/Medical Affairs/Sales/Brand Management/Project Management, with at least 6+ years of experience in Product/brand marketing /management.
  • Experience in brand strategy & tactical plan development and implementation.
  • Strong experience in planning & execution of the Multichannel Engagement (MCE) strategy.
  • Strong collaboration with brand teams, affiliate teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex datasets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • This job is in Bangalore, India. International travel might be required for 20 days a year.
