About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit supports Biopharm global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. The Novo Nordisk Corporate Strategy has established the ambition for setting the Health Economics and Outcomes Research strategies and plans to contribute to market access preparedness for pipeline and launch products and to demonstrate the Health Economics and Outcomes Research value of the Novo Nordisk Other Serious Chronic Diseases (OSCD) products.

 

The position

As Senior Global HEOR Manager you will work closely with multiple stakeholders such as market access colleagues, R&D, brand teams, commercial planning, medical affairs, biostat, regions and affiliates.  You will partner with global and local stakeholders to facilitate the design of retrospective and prospective studies.

 

  • Lead in the initiation, development and implementation of Health Economics and Outcomes Research strategies and plans for relevant brands to contribute to their market access preparedness

  • Lead the evidence generation including HE model development, economic evaluation, cost and health-related quality-of-life studies, indirect treatment comparisons alone or in collaboration with colleagues, external experts and/or vendors

  • Substantiate a strong support of the Payer Value Story with credible Health Economics and Outcomes Research

 

Qualification

  • University master’s degree in appropriate field such as health economics or outcomes research, epidemiology or statistics/biostatistics

  • Minimum of six years of experience in health economics and health outcomes research, ideally within pharmaceutical industry or consultancy

  • Proven strong scientific publication track record (in peer-reviewed manuscripts)
