Your new role
As our Global Forecasting Lead, you'll be a trusted internal partner, conducting detailed valuations and preparing forecasts that inform critical portfolio decisions. Working closely with the Director of Portfolio Valuations, you'll drive valuation excellence in an increasingly dynamic product portfolio, directly contributing to our commitment to better health for people around the world.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting portfolio and asset valuations, ensuring accuracy and relevance in all reporting outputs to empower strategic investment decisions
  • Maintaining and applying established valuation methodologies with rigorous adherence to best practices and data governance standards
  • Contributing actionable insights from portfolio valuation analysis to senior management, enhancing their decision-making capabilities
  • Preparing high-quality forecasts for key products on regional and global levels, including long-term forecasts (LTF) that inform business planning
  • Developing scenarios to analyse the most important value drivers and help identify relevant strategic actions
  • Collaborating with key internal partners across therapy areas to ensure valuation insights are integrated into business strategies and decision-making
  • Seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in analytical tools, processes, and templates within the team

 

Your new department
In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximizing portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.
The Portfolio Valuations/Strategic Forecasting team sits within the Portfolio Strategy, Forecasting and Valuations unit of the broader Portfolio Strategy, Insights & Access (PSIA) organization. Our team focuses on producing accurate and robust forecasts and valuations that inform investment strategies and business decisions, driving optimal financial performance across our expanding therapeutic portfolio. In this role, you'll work in a collaborative environment where your insights directly shape the future of our product portfolio.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a driven, ambitious, and collaborative professional who thrives on analytical challenges and strategic thinking. You'll bring with you:

  • A minimum of 5 years' professional experience in valuations, strategic forecasting, financial analysis, or a related field, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
  • A degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and financial modelling concepts, with the ability to apply them accurately and rigorously
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to clearly document assumptions, limitations, and insights for diverse stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate inputs, and ensure timely delivery
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
