Your new role
As a Global Customer Insights Senior Lead, you will be at the forefront of generating and delivering best-in-class market research that directly influences strategic and operational decisions at the highest levels of our organization. You'll lead high-impact research projects that shape product portfolios and commercial strategies across our global markets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the preparation and delivery of high-quality quantitative and qualitative market research for key products, portfolios and strategic areas across global markets
- Driving best-in-class customer and consumer insight analysis that supports senior management in making critical strategic and operational decisions
- Challenging vendors and brand teams on methodology, cost and processes to continuously improve market research outputs and efficiency
- Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders across headquarters and affiliates, ensuring alignment and successful attainment of common targets
- Presenting key insights to senior management forums, educating teams and providing strategic direction based on external research findings
- Coaching and providing direction to team members, establishing best practices and sup-porting the development of the customer and consumer insights function
- Managing project budgets effectively while ensuring compliance across all aspects including sourcing, contracting, pharmacovigilance, legal approvals and documentation
Your new department
In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.
You will be part of the P&PS GBS team in Bangalore, a dynamic and collaborative department dedicated to driving strategic objectives and delivering high-quality results. Based in a fast-paced and innovative environment, the team works closely with cross-functional stakeholders across headquarters in Denmark and affiliates globally to address key business objectives and shape the insights that drive our commercial success.
Skills & qualifications
We're looking for an experienced insights professional who thrives in ambiguity and can trans-form complex data into actionable strategic recommendations. You'll bring with you:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a market research function and/or as a management consultant in a client-facing capacity; experience within the pharmaceutical industry and/or in a headquarters capacity are strong advantages
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or related field; focus on market research or pharmaceutical sciences is seen as an advantage
- International experience, either from having worked abroad or in close collaboration with colleagues based in different geographies
- Demonstrated experience delivering best-in-class strategic insights, identifying growth opportunities, and using analytical and logical thinking to solve exceptionally complex problems
- Deep industry knowledge of research designs, companies and practices that drive best-in-class results
- Track record of strong project and stakeholder management in a cross-functional setting, with proven ability to influence and mobilize stakeholders into action
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex ideas effectively to audiences at various organizational levels, both verbally and in writing
- Strong presentation skills with the confidence to defend insights and methodology when challenged by senior stakeholders
- Coaching experience and ability to guide teams toward best practices
- Strategic and quality-driven mindset with high willingness to adapt and embrace new challenges
