The Position

Engage with customer insight generation and dissemination within Novo Nordisk. Dependent on the specific responsibilities mentioned below, it involves interaction with key brands and affiliates/regions in support of decision-making and strategy development. A key focus in the role is to act as an SME and ensure compliance in sourcing, legal and pharmaco-vigilance processes throughout the execution of market research.

 

  • Support and drive the preparation of high-quality primary market research for key products, portfolios, and areas of interest on a country/regional or global level.
  • Drive the Market Research project management of a portfolio of Market Research projects in close collaboration with the Global brand teams, sourcing, and key affiliates.
  • Support and drive the preparation of best-in-class customer insight analyses to senior management to enable strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Impact and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders, including partners to ensure alignment and successful attainment of common targets.
  • Provide input to improve key Market Research processes in the department.

 

Qualification

  • Master’s degree/PhD, preferably in Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical sciences or Master's in Management with Bachelor's in Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • 5+ years’ of relevant experience in market research in industry and/or as consultant, preferably within pharma/biotech/Drug Devices.
  • Great communicator who understands the importance and power of the written word when communicating within the Team.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in working with global teams an advantage.

 

About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports BioPharma global marketing for rare diseases. Commercial Planning team contributes across therapy areas such as Diabetes, Obesity, CVD/OSCD and Rare diseases, in different functional areas such as Insights and forecasting, Competitive Intelligence, Market Research, Launch Operations and Social/Reputation Intelligence.
