The position

As a Global Competitive Intelligence Lead, you will:

  • Provide competitor input to M0 milestones of Novo Nordisk research projects.
  • Deliver data-driven assessments of the competitive landscape within the assigned therapy area (TA).
  • Support and optimize Novo Nordisk’s R&D and commercial strategies at project, portfolio, and corporate levels.
  • Drive quarterly Competitor Monitor updates in collaboration with the CI team in HQ.
  • Build and maintain a strong network with key internal stakeholders, including Commercial Planning, Global Research, Regulatory Affairs, and Global Development.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate relevant competitor activities to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Establish an overview of near, medium, and long-term challenges and opportunities posed to Novo Nordisk.
  • Provide continuous support to project teams and deliver competitive landscape overviews for therapy areas, including  competitor pipelines, approval year projections, and approved products.
  • Contribute to the monthly “Competitor News” internal newsletter and provide insights from major scientific/clinical congresses.
  • Proactively suggest and drive competitor analyses and improvements to Competitive Intelligence deliverables, processes, and CI portal files.
  • Predict and address key stakeholder needs for competitor insights.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with Danish colleagues by scheduling regular meetings and coordinating event briefings to strengthen visibility and engagement.
  • Provide end-to-end conference support for onsite and offsite events, including pre-reads, pre-congress planning, live coverage, debriefs, and post-conference reports

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Medicine or Life/Pharmaceutical Sciences and 8+years of working experience in the Competitive Intelligence industry focusing on the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven experience in competitive intelligence, data analysis, or a related field. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings to stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
  • High adaptability and willingness to embrace change in areas of coverage to meet organizational needs.
