The position 

As the Director- PSQIT Finance GBS, you will be the single point of contact (SPOC) for the PSQIT stakeholders (Production & Investment Finance, Business Finance & Analytics) with keen focus on timelines, high quality, proactive communication, and faster decision making). You will be driving strategic projects to expand the scope of activities performed by GBS and hold accountability for performance and quality. In select areas (Production Finance, Business Finance & Analytics, PSQIT Investment), functional managers to have dotted reporting to GBS Process Owner. You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:

  • Direct responsibility of all GBS deliverables and team for select PSQIT stakeholders and work closely with the GBS teams, Global Process owners, and stakeholders in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust financial processes related to PSQIT, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with functional managers across functions in GBS to drive performance and service delivery quality.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies, while also contributing to the development of governance frameworks.
  • Support with operational activities of costing, allocation, provisions and in-depth financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize inventory management, and improve overall financial performance.
  • Review key reports and signoff on quality prior to distributing it with stakeholders. Work closely with supply chain, procurement, and finance teams both Global and GBS to align financial processes with supply chain strategies and business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field along with 10+ years of proven experience in financial management, or related roles within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4HANA) for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Over 5 years of demonstrated people management and leadership experience, with the ability to effectively communicate vision to the team and think strategically, fostering an environment conducive to innovation and growth.
  • Possess strong coaching, mentoring skills and has proven ability to manage and adapt to changes and has personal drive and personal impact and integrity with cultural sensitivity and understanding.
