The position
As a Department Coordinator at Novo Nordisk, you will:

Act as a primary point of contact between the Commercial GBS and internal/external parties, handling communication and responding on behalf of the Commercial GBS when necessary.

Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain organised records, including preparing reports, presentations, and documentation.

Manage the Commercial GBS’s calendar, including arranging appointments, meetings, travel plans, preparing agendas and ensure follow-up actions are communicated and executed.

Assist in various projects by conducting research, compiling data, and providing administrative support.

Organise and coordinate company events, conferences, or other functions involving the Commercial GBS.

Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following qualifications:

Any bachelor’s degree with preferred background in administration.

5+ years of experience in an administrative role reporting directly to upper management.

Good IT skills, particularly as an expert within most of the Microsoft Office package.

Strong time-management skills and an ability to organise and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills and the ability to apply intercultural understanding with a broad perspective.

Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems.

High integrity and ability to work with highly confidential information.
About the department
The Commercial GBS department drives competitive commercial strategies and sustainable solutions for the benefit of people living with Diabetes, Obesity, Rare Diseases, and other serious chronic conditions. Our unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas, including Commercial Planning, Multi-Channel Engagement, Marketing & Market Access, and Commercial Operations. The team creates insights to launch products, market intelligence, forecasting, and Global Brand Strategy & Tactics. We are a vibrant team comprising Project Management, Brand Management, Brand Communications, and Life Cycle Management of products, working together to make a significant impact.
