Your new role
As Data Management & AI Lead, you'll be a senior individual contributor shaping enterprise-wide patient data and AI capabilities from GBS India. Acting as a vital bridge between global business priorities and scalable technology solutions, you'll ensure strong data foundations and drive responsible AI adoption across platforms and business domains.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design and execution of data management strategies aligned with global and regional business priorities, ensuring robust data models, quality, lineage, metadata, and master data management
- Enabling scalable AI and advanced analytics solutions built on trusted, compliant, and well-governed data across Common Data Platform (AWS & Snowflake) and data modelling tools (Dbt)
- Designing and managing AI agent architectures, including retrieval augmented agents, task orchestrating agents, and multi-agent workflows
- Partnering with AI, product, and engineering teams to translate complex business problems into data-driven and AI-enabled solutions
- Championing responsible AI principles including transparency, explainability, privacy, and regulatory compliance
- Acting as a senior delivery lead from GBS India, owning outcomes across multiple initiatives and serving as a trusted advisor to senior management on data and AI topics
- Driving standardization and reuse of data assets across affiliates, regions, and platforms to maximize efficiency and impact

Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a Data Management & AI Lead who thrives at the intersection of data strategy, AI innovation, and global delivery. You'll bring with you:
- 10+ years of extensive experience in data management, analytics, or AI-related roles within a global or matrix organization, with proven track record leading enterprise-scale data initiatives across multiple regions or business units
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field (Master's degree strongly preferred)
- Deep technical expertise in data management principles (data modeling, data quality, metadata, lineage) and modern data platforms including AI engineering, cloud data warehouses, and data lakes
- Hands-on experience designing and managing AI agent architectures, including retrieval augmented agents, task orchestrating agents, and multi-agent workflows, with deep understanding of vibe coding principles (LLM pattern prompting, agent behavior steering, schema guided generation, tool use orchestration)
- Familiarity with building enterprise-grade GenAI services including LLM prompt engineering & evaluation, model fine-tuning, enterprise grounding strategies, and responsible AI requirements
- Strong background in global delivery models and operating at scale, with demonstrated ability to influence without authority and operate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language and serve as a trusted advisor at senior management level
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP), data management certifications (DAMA-DMBOK, CDMP), or AI/ML certifications are highly valued
