Your new role
As Customer Insights Lead, you will drive high-quality market research and customer insight analysis for Novo Nordisk's US business, partnering closely with brand teams, Commercial In-sights & Analytics colleagues and global counterparts to inform strategic and operational decisions at the highest levels.

 

Day-to-day, your tasks will include:

  • Leading the end-to-end execution of quantitative and qualitative market research projects for key US products, portfolios and strategic areas of interest
  • Translating findings into best-in-class insights and presenting them in key forums and executive summaries to enable senior management decision-making
  • Challenging vendors and brand teams on methodology, cost and processes to continuously improve research quality and efficiency
  • Building strong partnerships with stakeholders across NNI US, GBS and HQ to ensure alignment, coordination and shared success
  • Supporting the optimisation of Novo Nordisk's commercial strategies at project, portfolio and corporate levels
  • Contributing to the development of the wider Customer Insights function
  • Ensuring compliance across sourcing, contracting, pharmacovigilance, legal approvals and reporting, and keeping internal platforms (SharePoint, Smartsheet) up to date

 

Your new department
In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.
You will be part of the Product & Portfolio Strategy GBS team in Bangalore – a dynamic and collaborative department dedicated to driving strategic objectives and delivering high-quality results. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across our US affiliate and headquarters in Denmark, the team shapes the insights that fuel our commercial success. In this role, you'll con-tribute directly to brand strategy and go-to-market processes, ensuring brand priorities are in-formed by the latest market and customer insights.

 


Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a strategic, curious and self-driven insights professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment and is energised by complex business questions. You'll bring with you:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a market research function and/or as a management consultant in a client-facing capacity, ideally with a Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Hands-on experience working with the US market – this is essential for the role
  • International experience – either working abroad or in close collaboration with colleagues across geographies – combined with deep knowledge of research designs, vendors and practices that drive best-in-class results
  • A demonstrated track record of delivering strategic insights, identifying growth opportunities and using qualitative and quantitative analysis to solve complex problems and drive decisions
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional settings, with the ability to influence and mobilise senior stakeholders while maintaining excellent working relationships
  • Excellent written and spoken English, strong presentation skills, and the ability to synthesise and defend insights and methodology when challenged
  • A proactive, innovative and quality-driven mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and a high level of independence in operational decisions
  • This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role with no direct people management responsibilities.
  • The role requires working in the 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM IST shift to support collaboration with global stakeholders.
