About the Department

This role is a part of the Communications team within General Management GBS. Communication team sets the clear direction for communication that strengthens our corporate brand and reputation while supporting the growth of the business, the value it creates in society and fostering high trust and engagement our employees.

The Position

As a Communication Partner, you are expected to Communication partner for Global Solutions and Member of Communication – General Management GBS team. Implement and maintain Global Solutions Communication approach; incl. communication plan and communication initiatives to support implementation of the Global Solutions Ambition and business initiatives towards employees as well as stakeholders. Drive internal Global Solutions communication. Generate high-quality content for multiple channels, translating sometimes complex information into appealing messages and stories, and creating online and offline materials including feature stories, case studies, internal announcements, presentations, speeches, videos, and web and social media content.

• Identify promotional and communications opportunities, crafting announcements, responses, FAQs, and visuals such as infographics, posters, etc.

• Liaise with external communications service providers for creative services, communication solutions, and event management. Drive, execute, and contribute independently to the projects and tasks.

• Advise on communication challenges and possibilities, driving communication planning in relation to cross-functional projects, events, and changes from the initial approach and planning to the production of the final communication solution being compelling slide decks, videos, websites, articles, or engaging events.

• Member of Communication – General Management GBS team: Active team member, share better practices.
• Support team initiatives/tasks and act as team resource where relevant and not in conflict with Global Solutions priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may direct the work of other staff members.

Qualifications

We ideally expect you to hold a bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, or a related area desirable.

• At least 10 years of experience in a global multinational organisation in a communications role.
• Proven achievements of large-scale communications and change programmes
• Excellent written and fluent verbal communication skills in English a must (near-native level proficiency).
• Strong computer skills, including the MS Office suite, SharePoint, Yammer.
• Ability to comfortably work across teams of different cultures and time zones.
• Experience with a broad range of internal and external communication disciplines.
• Strong strategy development skills.
• Strong project management competencies, strong analytical skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, strong communication skills.
• High focus on achieving results.
• Ability to collaborate on a cross-functional level and to relate to other people in a multi-international environment.
