The position
As a Cloud Architect - I at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Design and develop services within Azure DevOps and GitHub platform areas as per stakeholder requirement.
- Develop SLA agreed services, manage Line of Business/Super Users' and customers' expectations, and act as a central point of contact for system and service-related issues.
- Oversee and administer Azure DevOps and GitHub platforms, ensuring compliance with GxP process templates for GxP use.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all system and service-related matters, ensuring service levels meet future business needs.
- Manage GitHub platform, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with standards and regulations.
- Implement and maintain GitOps principles within our infrastructure.
- Ensure declarative expression of the desired state for system management.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for major & critical incidents and work in rotational shifts covering EMEA time zone.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science (or equivalent) with overall 8+ years of experience in IT Industry. Minimum 3+ years of experience in Azure DevOps, GitHub and Azure Cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in administrating both Azure DevOps and GitHub platforms, including user access management, repository maintenance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and practices for managing infrastructure and application deployment.
- Proven experience in Azure DevOps and GitHub platform administration.
- Strong understanding of declarative system management and version control.
- Experience in implementing and managing GXP process templates for GxP use within both Azure DevOps and GitHub platforms.
- Strong understanding of version control, branch management, and code review processes within GitHub.
- Ability to configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps for efficient project execution.
- Experience in managing and optimizing cloud-based development environments within Azure DevOps.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and providing technical support within both Azure DevOps and GitHub platforms.
- Knowledge from GxP regulated pharma industry preferred.
- Experience in Incident, Problem, Change within the ITIL framework and knowledge of IT infrastructure support and Operations.

The position is based in the Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI) area, part of Global IT Operations (GITO) – a department with 500+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our Cloud Services, Infrastructure Services, Operations, IT Support, Major Incident Management, and Digital Workplace Services. The Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure is an area consisting of 180+ people in 10+ product teams with highly skilled and dedicated employees. We have a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, and we work in a truly global setup with colleagues located all over the world.
