The position
As a Clinical Disclosure and Transparency Specialist, you will:
- Perform clinical disclosure and transparency tasks, including trial disclosure, audit readiness, and health authority interactions.
- Take ownership of clinical disclosure activities and contribute to updates of relevant templates and SOPs.
- Act as the primary contact for stakeholders concerning Clinical Reporting-driven content or documents.
- Drive discussions, align strategies, and ensure decisions are taken to meet Clinical Reporting objectives.
- Lead meetings, prioritize tasks, and ensure the Clinical Reporting strategy is integrated into project strategies.
- Foster knowledge sharing, skill building, and collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues.
- Drive process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and digital innovation while maintaining a quality mindset.
- Represent Clinical Reporting in project groups and ensure global regulatory requirements are met.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with the following qualifications:
- PhD or Master's degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) plus relevant experience
- 10 years evaluating and communicating data, preferably in pharma/CRO
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trial disclosure and transparency
- Experience in clinical drug development, GCP, clinical trial methodology, and trial registration
- Experience working in global, project-oriented, international organizations
- Experience with IT tools for disclosure/transparency processes
About the department
You will join an expert team of Clinical Disclosure Professionals (CDPs) in Clinical Reporting, based in Bangalore. Our team supports Novo Nordisk’s commitment to sharing information about all clinical studies and their results. Established in 2014 as the Centre of Excellence for Results Disclosure, our unit has grown to cater to all transparency requirements.
Our highly trained and experienced team ensures that clinical trial documents such as protocols, clinical trial reports, and synopses are prepared and shared in compliance with regulatory requirements, data protection laws, and internal policies. We apply suitable data protection techniques like redaction and anonymization before releasing documents to regulatory bodies, scientists, third-party researchers, or the general public. Our work supports submissions to various regulatory bodies, including Health Canada, European Medicines Agency (EMA), and clinical trial registries.
