About the department

Operations Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore is a newly formed unit where all the commercial units across GBS have come together. It currently supports International Marketing & Commercial, Medical Affairs Operations, Commercial Analytics, Omnichannel Operations, Communications, Supply Chain and Sustainability for Headquarters in Denmark, Region Europe, North America, International Operations & Global Service Centre Bangalore.

Commercial Analytics, part of Operations GBS, was founded in June 2013 with the vision of establishing a team of dedicated analytics professionals to provide best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. Our purpose is to consistently deliver superior service and partnership experiences to our stakeholders, adding value to processes through standardization and efficiency. The team is dynamic, collaborative, and committed to driving impactful results.

 

The position

As a Business Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Deliver accurate pricing information, reports, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end pricing processes, including validation, dashboards, and business cases.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to evaluate pharmaceutical pricing data and generate clear reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on strategic pricing projects and address operational challenges.
  • Mentor and train analysts, supporting team development and ad-hoc projects.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who can bring the following skills and experience to the role:

 

Need to have:

  • Master’s Degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute
  • Requires 4–6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on Pharma Pricing and Market Access
  • Strategic & Analytical Expertise – Skilled in analysing complex business problems, synthesizing data-driven insights, and developing effective analysis plans.
  • Collaboration & Communication – Strong ability to work with internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, and project teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Technical Proficiency – Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic VBA; working knowledge of Power BI; experience with IMS MIDAS and SAP is a plus.
  • Project Management & Relationship Building – Demonstrates solid project management skills and builds strong relationships to address multidimensional challenges.
  • Professionalism & Adaptability – Delivers timely, accurate results while managing ad-hoc tasks and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
