About the department

Global Information Technology (IT) India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global IT in Head Quarter. The establishment of Global IT India is in line with the overall IT strategy in Novo Nordisk, which is to globalise IT in Novo Nordisk. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 300+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes system management, project management, infrastructure management, compliance management, security management, process management and vendor management.


The position

You will be responsible for providing Functional and Technical support, enhancements for WinkQCL and Biograph systems out of Product Supply – Manufacturing IT department in Corporate IT, India in co-operation with Product Supply – Manufacturing IT department in Corporate IT, Denmark. You will be providing World-class support for Winkqcl and Biograph and improve support database by contributing with improvements and workarounds. Your responsibilities include to drive/participate in work related to implementation of System enhancements or feature releases.


Furthermore, you will be responsible for the delivery of System and Support services and ensuring that they meet business requirement in co-ordination with Line of Business.


You will be responsible to co-Ordinate Day to Day execution of the following:

  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Change Management
  • Test Co-ordination/ Validation
  • Co-ordinate and help in Audits
  • Database activities
  • Infrastructure related activities
  • Release plan, documentation

Your responsibilities to prepare and update Infrastructure related documentation and Co-ordination with Vendors, stakeholders, Users.



Below skills are required to have

  • Masters degree or Bachelors degree or similar graduate degree in relevant fields (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) and relevant business experience
  • 3-4 years of experience with IT
  • 3+ years of relevant technology experience / Experience in handling Gxp Systems, CSV, COTS products
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in handling issues on COTS products
  • Good to have CSV knowledge
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily users
  • Ability to represent NN in relations with users and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11, GMP)
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral in English
  • Large degree of flexibility and the ability to work under strong time pressure
  • ITIL knowledge
