About the department
Commercial Insight & Analytics, GBS Bangalore, is responsible for data management, analytics and insight generation for the global markets. The unit supports global stakeholders in taking commercial execution decisions through data-driven insights. The department encompasses various functions such as Frontline Excellence, Contract Operations, Pricing, Business Intelligence, Data Science & Strategy and Channel Dynamics.
The Position
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Patient Analytics team, under the Channel Dynamics function, for International Operations (IO). The candidate will play a pivotal role in collaborating with IO stakeholders to understand business requirements and contribute to consumer strategies through specific action-based insights. Overseeing insights delivery through various modes of delivery like MS PowerPoint, PowerBI, MS Excel, etc. Strengthen the foundation for driving patient journey analytics by exploring and consolidating various patient related data-sets available in the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of prescription and patient data to uncover key insights, trends and opportunities in designated therapy areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance metrics, KPIs and success criteria
- Utilize tools such as MS excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and PowerApps to manage, collect and report performance metrics
- Ensure seamless data collection, cleaning and reporting process and identify areas of process improvement
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with data scientists, and dashboard developers to implement insights-driven deliveries
- Independently drive end-to-end delivery of reports, dashboards and key projects (including primary research)
- Establish strong process and data governance for patient datasets
- Drive stakeholder engagements, understanding the requirements and delivering as per the timelines
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, life sciences, pharmacy, statistics, or related fields.
- 5-6 years of relevant analytical and data management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge about digital platforms and tools like PowerBI, SQL, Python and other MS Office tools
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Great attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and work in complex business environment
- Strong project management skills to facilitate cross-functional projects
