Brand Communications Lead

Department: Operations GBS

Organization: Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS) India

Are you a sharp editorial mind who thrives on turning complex health content into clear, compelling consumer experiences? Here's your chance to lead content delivery at scale — shaping how millions of patients discover and engage with Novo Nordisk's GLP-1 ecosystem across global markets.

Your new role
As Brand Communications Lead, you'll drive end-to-end consumer content delivery for TAW and NovoCare — combining editorial excellence with hands-on execution in a fast-moving, regulated environment. You'll set the quality bar, keep campaigns on track and ensure every piece of content is clear, compliant and built to perform.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and upholding editorial quality across all consumer health content — reviewing, elevating and fixing work from agencies, freelancers and internal authors across articles, landing pages, newsletters, awareness assets and localization kits
  • Translating quarterly themes and editorial plans into dated execution plans with clear owners, timelines and launch-ready outputs — owning campaign content readiness from copy decks through QA and go/no-go checks
  • Driving content audits and optimization sprints at scale — making sharp editorial decisions quickly while prioritising updates based on performance signals, business need, market relevance and compliance requirements
  • Planning and executing NovoCare landing pages and content modules directly in CMS platforms — including content structure, storytelling, user journey, metadata validation, SEO, accessibility and pre-launch QA without full agency dependence
  • Managing end-to-end MLR submissions, Veeva/SharePoint governance, claims and reference control, recertification tracking and audit-ready documentation in close collaboration with Medical, Legal, Regulatory and Quality stakeholders
  • Partnering with Regional CoEs and priority markets to produce market-ready localization kits — including copy decks, claims lists, transcreation notes, SEO guidance and asset maps — while leading external newsletter execution from planning through go-live
  • Proactively communicating status, decisions, blockers and next steps across Denmark, GBS, regions and agencies — managing vendors with clear briefs and quality expectations, and using approved AI tools responsibly to accelerate content workflows.

Your new department

Finance, Legal & Global Solutions enables Novo Nordisk to fulfil its purpose by safeguarding the business, providing corporate infrastructure, and driving value creation. Our 2,300-strong team is primarily based in Denmark, India, and Mexico.

You'll join the Operations GBS unit aligned with International Operations (IO), focused on executional excellence. We drive efficiency across Commercial and Brand Management, Commercial Analytics, Communications, Supply Chain Customer Fulfilment, Medical Affairs, Omnichannel Operations, and Sustainability. Within this unit, the International Marketing & Commercial (IM&C) team supports IO's strategic focus on "speed, simplicity, and frontline execution" to achieve patient reach, sales growth, market share, and innovation goals.

Our IO FAST Content & Campaigns team, part of IM&C, aims to be a trusted global capability, delivering insight-led, creative, and agile content and campaigns that drive consistent HCP and consumer engagement and meaningful business impact.

Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for someone with senior editorial maturity — someone who knows what good content looks like in a regulated consumer health environment, can explain how to improve it, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to get it there.

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing, public affairs, digital content or a related field; a Master's degree in communication or marketing is an advantage
  • Proven editorial leadership in consumer health, digital content or pharmaceutical marketing — with hands-on experience reviewing, fixing and QA-ing content directly
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, consumer-friendly and compliant content
  • Experience with MLR/compliance workflows, CMS platforms, Veeva and SEO content governance in a regulated environment
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills — able to challenge agencies and content authors constructively while building trusted relationships across a remote, global matrix
  • Process- and timeline-oriented with disciplined use of trackers, dashboards, go/no-go checklists and decision logs; delivers to tight timelines with limited supervision
  • Analytical and practical — uses dashboard signals, content performance data and market feedback to recommend improvements and prioritise action
  • Adaptable and pragmatic — balances strategic understanding with hands-on execution in a fast-moving setup.
