Your new role
As Associate Manager – FP&A, you will be a trusted business partner to our Business Units, driving the financial planning, reporting and analysis that keep our performance on track. You will combine sharp analytical skills with strong stakeholder engagement to bring transparency to short- and long-term targets.

 

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

  • Supporting and actively participating in data collaboration for budget exercises and computing targets for the Business Unit
  • Conducting monthly financial performance reporting to Business Units and drafting monthly financial MIS, including MMR, inventory monitoring and product mix analysis
  • Tracking monthly sales development, highlighting YTG sales targets versus planned periods, and reporting price development and coordinated timelines for proposed implementations
  • Driving every element of P&L, reporting variance analysis to monitor sustainable growth and partnering with Business Units on cost forecasting and monthly variance reporting
  • Reviewing monthly collections/receivables and reporting collection performance for institutional business
  • Acting as a business partner for the line of business, supporting them on a need basis
  • Driving automation projects and managing multiple internal stakeholders

Our department is based in Bangalore and is responsible for managing Anchor Budget (AB), Rolling Estimates (RE) and similar financial planning processes. We focus on analysis and management reporting to local management to ensure transparency in the organisation's performance against short- and long-term targets. By leveraging data, business understanding and interpersonal skills, we interact with local management to drive value creation for the Business Unit and the company – all within a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere that provides an exciting environment for professional growth.

 

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a driven finance professional who thrives on turning numbers into insight and building strong partnerships across the business. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial operations, ideally with exposure to Anchor Budget (AB), Rolling Estimates (RE) and similar financial planning processes
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a Tier 1 Institute, with strong accounting experience
  • Strong advanced Excel and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial insight clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of IT systems such as SAP, SAP BI, Power BI and SAP HANA
  • Knowledge of the reimbursed market/institution business in the Pharma or FMCG Retail industry is an advantage.
  • You are analytical, detail-oriented and confident in engaging with business leaders as a true finance partner.
