We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in financial analysis and reporting, as well as proven ability to collaborate with business units to support sustainable growth. The Associate FP&A Manager position, based in Bangalore, offers an opportunity to play a pivotal role within our financial operations team. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.

  

The position 

As an Associate FP&A Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will: 

  • Support and actively participate in data collaboration for budget exercises and computing targets for the Business Unit. 
  • Conduct monthly financial performance reporting to Business Units. 
  • Draft monthly financial MIS, including MMR, inventory monitoring, and product mix analysis. 
  • Track monthly sales development and highlight YTG sales targets versus planned periods. 
  • Drive every element of P&L and report variance analysis to monitor sustainable growth. 
  • Report price development and coordinate timelines for proposed implementations. 
  • Act as a business partner for the line of business, supporting them on a need basis. 
  • Partner with business units for cost forecasting and report variances monthly. 
  • Review monthly collections/receivables and report collection performance for institutional business. 
  • Drive automation projects and manage multiple internal stakeholders. 

 

Qualifications 

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in financial operations. 
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant OR MBA in Finance from (Tier 1) Institute with strong accounting experience. 
  • Strong Advance Excel and presentation skills. 
  • Understanding of IT systems like SAP, SAP BI, and Power BI, SAP HANA. 
  • Knowledge of the reimbursed market/institution business in the Pharma or FMCG Retail Industry is an advantage. 
  • Experience in managing Anchor Budget (AB), Rolling Estimates (RE), and similar financial planning processes. 

 

About the department 

Our department is in Bangalore and is responsible for managing Anchor Budget (AB), Rolling Estimates (RE), and similar financial planning processes. We focus on analysis and management reporting to local management to ensure transparency in the organization’s performance against short and long-term targets. By leveraging data, business understanding, and interpersonal skills, we interact with local management to drive value creation for the Business Unit and the company.
