Associate Business Analyst for Strategic Sourcing in Procurement

About the department
The purpose of this position is to support Novo Nordisk Inc.’s – SEEMEA (South East Europe, Middle East & Africa) Procurement team. In this position, the incumbent will work in a matrix organisation structure having a solid line reporting to Finance GBS (Global Business Services), Procurement – Business Insights & Sourcing and dotted line to the Procurement Director, SEEMEA.

 

The position
You will be responsible for multiple sourcing project support for the indirect spend categories in SEEMEA and further perform supplier research, selection, negotiation & contracting. Manage win/win sourcing strategies support for supplier negotiations and gather business requirements and managing demand management data for various business units and analyse saving opportunities utilizing spend data.

 

Simultaneously, you have the ability to draft and detail RFIs/RFPs/RFQ"s as per the requirement to drive supplier selection processes and further interact regularly with senior stakeholders in different regions of Novo Nordisk and with suppliers on a requirement basis.

 

Hence, your role will also include to drive and publish monthly / yearly performance dashboards and presentations.

 

Qualifications
• You have completed a bachelor’s degree from a reputed university. You have 3-5 years of experience in sourcing & procurement, from a leading organisation.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Spend Data Analytics 
• Experience in COUPA or other ERP’s for eSourcing , Contract management & procurement functions will be an advantage
• You are a strong communicator, and have experience in global stakeholder management
• Track record of applying influencing, persuasion, presentation skills and experience in conflict resolution
• You possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and evaluate correlations and synthesize data driven insights
