Your new role

As an Associate Business Analyst within our Finance Global Business Services (GBS), you will play a key role in closing financial books, driving cost calculations and ensuring high-quality deliverables for Product Supply. You will work closely with Senior Analysts and Process Experts to deliver reliable financial information, drive continuous improvements and act as a process owner on behalf of Finance GBS.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Closing the financial books for Comp. 1000 inventory and COGS in compliance with accounting principles, and reporting to corporate functions according to internal guidelines
  • Performing cost price calculation, validation and governance of Product Supply products in the NN AB process, including reporting of inventory valuation and COGS impact
  • Calculating and determining Global Full Manufacturing Costs, Variable Cost and Full Cost across Novo Nordisk, while ensuring Product Supply SOX compliance
  • Supporting monthly and budget allocations, following up on interface accounts and performing reconciliations, weekly costing and forwarding for mark & release
  • Driving Month-End Close activities, including analysis and calculation of accruals/repostings, raw material deviation controlling (PPV, production variance, inventory adjustments) and scrap reporting
  • Actively participating in monthly stakeholder meetings, key learning sessions and driving the development of new tools, processes and FP&A and GBS Finance initiatives
  • Raising red flags when needed, identifying mitigating actions together with Senior Analysts and providing recommendations to stakeholders

We are a team of 2,300 colleagues primarily based at our headquarters in Denmark and our Global Business Services centres in India and Mexico.

You will join the FP&A team within Finance GBS, a collaborative and ambitious unit that partners closely with our colleagues in Denmark to deliver high-quality financial controlling and planning support to Product Supply. Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a driven and analytical finance professional who enjoys working with numbers as much as with people, and who is energised by improving the way things are done. To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • A Master's degree in Finance, ICWA, CMA (or equivalent) from a well-recognised institute, with a strong academic track record
  • 3-7 years of relevant work experience, ideally within manufacturing accounting and product costing, with a solid understanding of production accounting and finance
  • Proficiency with PC tools, including extensive knowledge of MS Office, SAP ECC and SAP BW
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide clear recommendations even under uncertainty and pressure, and the ability to handle and prioritise several tasks at once
  • A proactive, self-propelled mindset, strong communication and presentation skills, and a genuine team-player attitude
  • Fluency in oral and written English
