About the department
Supply Chain was established in March 2017 as part of Product Supply Devices & Supply Chain Management business plan. The Business plan has three parts; Robust, Ready, Effective and Supply Chain Global Business Service (GBS) is part of the last one focusing business through offshoring. The unit is anchored under Supply Chain Planning (SCP) in our Head Quarters and is the agreed place to consolidate Supply Chain activities across Novo Nordisk. The Supply Chain offshoring journey has started in Demand & Supply, Service Delivery Catalogue is taking form and other areas within Product Supply can soon join or add to the Catalogue to optimise costs and reduce complexity by operating an effective supply chain.


The Position: Job Level - 5
This role requires a Supply Chain Planner in the Supply Chain Planning GBS team, where you are expected to support & monitor daily planning activities and KPI’s in GBS. You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:
•    Support Supply Chain India in offshored planning processes.
•    Responsible for deploying and maintaining the production plans into SAP APO for the designated areas, ensuring a realistic and up-to-date development.
•    Responsible for the Supply Network Planning (SNP) communication over the Sales and Operations (S&OP) processes, emphasizing the supply chain imbalances encountered in planning life cycle.
•    Responsible for reporting data, systems or process issues which potentially impacts the production plan and/or its outcome.
•    Create and maintain production & purchase plans; maintain planning relevant Master Data and evaluate Master Data quality.

 

Qualifications
•    Masters/bachelor’s within supply chain management, production or mechanical (or equivalent) from a well-recognized institute having 4-8 years of planning and support experience.
•    Good understanding of supply chain concepts (Plan, Make, Source, Deliver, Return and supporting master data); ability to analyse and process the data.
•    Experienced user of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•    SAP ECC/R3 within Supply Chain and expertise in MM module is a must; exposure to Reports creation and maintenance is preferable. 
•    Experience in SAP APO/OMP/S4 HANA  can be an added advantage.
•    Strong and proven skills within stakeholder management and change management; ability to work with and challenge stakeholders at the highest organisational level.
•    Excellent communication and articulation skills; highly self-motivated to work independently, within delegated authority: with minimal or no supervision.
•    High energy and flexibility, capability to shoulder additional workload when necessary, high degree of work ethics and integrity.
