The Position

As an Associate Business Analyst (Tableau) in the Business Intelligence COE team, Finance Global Business Services FP&A team, you will play a crucial role in the financial system operational activities at Novo Nordisk. You will closely collaborate with the Product Supply team at our headqua'rters in Denmark. Your primary focus will be on corporate financial BI visualization applications used for financial reporting and business decisions. In this role, you will work as an integrated part of the Business Intelligence(BI) and Analytics team for Product Supply, collaborating with colleagues in India and Denmark. Your contribution will be instrumental in driving the upscaling of Business Intelligence(BI) and Analytics within Finance at Novo Nordisk. Additionally, you will ensure superior customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality support to the front office at our headquarters.

  • Providing business solutions for reporting and analysis using Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Enhancing and optimizing existing solutions for 100% automation and superior user satisfaction.
  • Performing rigorous detailed analysis, resolving issues, and ensuring data quality.
  • Preparing and executing test cases, ensuring the quality of solutions provided to stakeholders.
  • Assisting in user acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and providing end-user support.
  • Driving innovative initiatives across projects and sharing best practices.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Basic knowledge of web development (CSS, HTML, JS).
  • Solid experience in specification, design, development, or implementation of Tableau solutions.
  • Good knowledge of row-level security.
  • Strong user experience skills and the ability to provide valuable advice to the business.
  • Proficiency in working with complex data models and different schemas.
  • Experience in SQL, relational databases, and dimensional modeling.
