About the Department

The purpose of this position is to support Novo Nordisk Procurement through GBS in complete sourcing life cycle including supply base analysis, managing RFx, negotiations and supplier relationship management. In this position, the incumbent will work in a matrix organization structure having a solid line reporting to Finance GBS (Global Business Services), Procurement – Business Insights & Sourcing and dotted line to the different procurement organizations across the globe. Business Insights and Sourcing, team is overall responsible for supporting procurement team with Sourcing activites, project Support, e-auction, spend analytics, supplier management, Contracting, Reporting and Dashboards.

 

The Position

As an Analyst -Sourcing the key responsibilities are:

Sourcing activities:

  • Driving & manage multiple strategic and tactical sourcing projects for the indirect spend areas (Marketing, meetings and events, fleet, facilities, etc.) Liaising with stakeholders to understand the requirements and to create the RFx documents accordingly.
  • Managing RFI/RFP/RFQ with close coordination with business and procurement stakeholders. Conducting detailed bid analysis to assess the factors driving price variations.
  • Negotiation with the suppliers to drive value creation. Proficient in spend analysis and dashboards creation.
  • Solid understanding of source to contract processes, market dynamics, and sourcing toolbox (RFI/RFP/RFQ).
  • Driving and publishing monthly operations/compliance dashboards.

 

Qualifications 

Below are key skills and qualifications required for this job.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university.
  • 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing.
  • Prior experience in strategic sourcing, category management and S2C activities.
  • Experience in designing category strategies and identifying sourcing opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Experience in eProcurement tool – Coupa, Coupa Sourcing Optimization.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and ethical procurement practices and regulations.
