The Position

As a Finance Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

 

  • Validate and manage SLA (Service Level Agreement) invoicing details in coordination with department SPOCs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collect and incorporate quarterly updates and additions to SLA invoicing as required.
  • Invoice Distribution and Follow-up: Raise and distribute quarterly SLA invoices to global stakeholders and follow up on pending approvals to ensure timely processing.
  • Address and resolve queries raised by stakeholders, regularly interacting with intercompany teams, department managers, and SPOCs.
  • Update and maintain the data tracker related to department FTE, logbooks, and SLA invoicing regularly.
  • Work closely with department managers and SPOCs to identify, address, and resolve any discrepancies in invoicing or related data.
  • Provide necessary data inputs to the invoicing automation team and prepare MIS reports, including dashboards, for performance tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent qualification with a strong academic track record and grades
  • 4-6 years of experience in an accounting function, preferably in a large organization, with a solid understanding of accounting and finance
  • Proficient in PC tools and IT systems relevant to accounting and finance functions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
  • A proven track record of taking ownership of tasks and being accountable for deliverables, ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of managing processes and solving tasks independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial insights and analyses to stakeholders.

About the department

Finance Partnering is part of General Management department in Novo Nordisk Global Business Services in India is responsible for the financial management of business units in GBS. In Finance Partnering you will be part of a young and ambitious team consisting of 10 talented employees. Our overall ambition is to create impact through Finance Partnering to our stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate. To do this, we collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
