About the department
In DD&IT Development GBS Digital Data Streams Solutions, a part of DD&IT Development GBS, a portfolio of GxP, Financial & Business Critical applications are being managed and supported. These applications are among the most critical IT systems in Novo Nordisk supporting essential processes and being used 24x7 by thousands of users worldwide. Digital Data Streams Solutions works closely with line of Business, System managers, Quality Check (QC)/Quality Assurance (QA) and subject matter experts across the Novo Nordisk IT organization in Denmark and India. 

 

The position
As an Advanced System Manager I at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Act as a single point of contact for all system and service-related matters, coordinating between System Owner, internal teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Establish and support the operation and maintenance of the Study Builder, CDW, and RLS Protect systems. Ensure the systems meet Quality & Compliance requirements as per company QMS procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Supervise the day-to-day usage, processes, operation, and maintenance of the systems and establish expectations with the System Owner and manage the system accordingly.
  • Manage the expectations of LoB and users concerning the use of the systems and ensure continuous improvement of processes surrounding the system.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with Technical SMEs on all technical matters and manage the system budget and software licenses.
  • Develop and negotiate vendor SLAs and follow-up on vendor deliveries and service targets.

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelors or Masters in relevant field with 10+ years of experience with IT.
  • 5+ years of experience with service management, service delivery and/or operational vendor management or within operation and maintenance of IT systems (ITIL).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements, including audits and inspections of GxP systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile setup.
  • Good knowledge of working with cloud technologies like Azure or AWS.
  • Should possess global stakeholder management skills and excellent communication abilities, working effectively as a team player.
  • Willingness to travel to Denmark for 3 months.
  • Good to have experience in project management skills.
