About the department

The GSC&BD GBS unit is in Bengaluru, India, with our headquarters in Denmark. We are focused on consolidating supply chain activities and driving performance improvement. As part of the Global Operational Planning team, our role involves continuous improvement of our operational planning processes and systems to ensure a balanced supply plan on a global scale. The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

 

The position
As a Advanced Planning Professional, you will play a key role in operational planning by managing planning variants, driving master data excellence, and improving the processes that keep our global supply chain running smoothly. You'll work in a dynamic environment where your analytical mindset and continuous improvement focus will directly shape how we plan and deliver at scale.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Running operational tasks related to planning variants and related master data – creating variants in our planning tool based on existing planning and regulatory rules, ensuring accuracy and the correct flow of dependent requirements, resolv-ing demand-supply mismatch conflicts, and analysing and resolving master data gaps
  • Driving process improvements in supply chain operations related to variant man-agement and master data, collaborating with process owners to implement revised procedures, and delivering related trainings within GOP to ensure process adoption
  • Providing expert guidance and support to stakeholders, fostering open communi-cation and tailoring advice to align supply chain operations with business objectives
  • Facilitating smooth transitions for new process implementations and system up-dates related to variant planning and operations, including planning for new plants and coordinating with stakeholders to minimise disruption
  • Advising on master data, data management and data governance to enhance de-cision-making, using data analytics to support informed strategic planning and partnering with the master data steward on improvement opportunities

 

Qualifications:
We're looking for a detail-oriented supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence. You'll bring with you:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline
  • 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in Supply Chain and 3+ years working with Supply Chain tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and guide diverse stakeholders
  • A continuous improvement mindset, paired with adaptability, time management and a strong customer focus
