As Advanced IT Developer – GitHub Platform, you will keep GitHub Enterprise Cloud running securely and reliably for engineering teams across Novo Nordisk. You will build the automation, governance and self-service that let product teams move faster and deliver software with confidence. What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, software engineering or a related role.
- Hands-on GitHub Enterprise Cloud administration, including organisations, repositories, teams, permissions, policies, branch protection, integrations and security features.
- Automation and scripting skills in one or more of C#, Python, PowerShell or JavaScript.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, reusable workflows and repository templates.
- Experience managing platform configuration and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Pulumi.
- A solid grasp of software delivery, testing, debugging, troubleshooting and operational support.
- Familiarity with working in regulated environments, in line with QMS, O&M processes, change management and applicable SOPs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage engineering teams, security, compliance, architecture, operations and vendors.
What you’ll do
You will administer the platform day to day while continuously improving how teams use it. In this role, you will:
- Configure, maintain and support GitHub Enterprise Cloud for enterprise use, managing organisations, repositories, teams, permissions, policies and integrations within the agreed governance model.
- Enable secure and compliant use of GitHub across the software development lifecycle, supporting traceability, quality, security and compliance from development through to operations.
- Build and maintain platform automation and Infrastructure as Code (preferably Pulumi) for administration, onboarding, governance and self-service, ensuring consistency and auditability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitHub Actions, access management, integrations and CI/CD pipelines to keep the developer experience stable and reliable.
- Define reusable templates, blueprints, policy-as-code approaches and CI/CD patterns that help teams deliver software securely and efficiently.
- Apply Agile and DevOps practices, and work in line with Novo Nordisk QMS, O&M processes and applicable SOPs to keep changes controlled and well documented.

You will join the Data & AI Foundation (DAIF) in Bangalore, which brings together Data Engineering & Platforms, Advanced Compute & Infrastructure, AI Engineering & Platforms, and Developer Experience, Compliance & Platforms to build, operate and scale trusted data and AI capabilities. As a GBS partner, the team enables EIT GBS functions and strengthens platform ways of working through a strong India–Denmark partnership.
Your closest partners will be platform users, digital product builders and software engineering teams, alongside security, compliance, architecture, operations and other DevSecOps stakeholders. You will also work with external partners, including GitHub and relevant integration, security, automation and observability vendors, to align platform capabilities with real engineering needs. Clear communication across these teams is how priorities, requirements and dependencies get resolved at speed.
