About the department

You will be organizationally placed in HR DD&IT in GBS (Global Business Services), reporting to the local Head of Develop, Engage, and System. The internal IT systems in Novo Nordisk support our 55,000 colleagues globally and our 5,000 managers. Our goal is to create an intuitive user experience and business value for our colleagues using these systems. We are anchored in DD&IT Staffs in the global Digital, Data & IT organization.

 

The position

As an Advanced IT Architect at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Set the overall direction for Information Technology architecture and technical strategy.
  • Ensure alignment and implementation of governance and processes for SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) in HR DD&IT, including standardizing systems, processes, and compliance.
  • Anticipate future business directions and enterprise needs and leverage existing and new technologies to support current and new business opportunities and ensure standardization and reusability across Novo Nordisk.
  • Collaborates with various stakeholders to align Information Technology architecture with business objectives.
  • Works closely with IT applications, platforms, and data teams to provide guidance and build roadmaps and participate in system operation and maintenance activities.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Should have experience between 7-10 years with relevant 3+years as IT Architect.
  • Proven experience in developing and communicating technical and architectural visions.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP SuccessFactors, general infrastructure, platforms, and data.
  • Experience in leveraging existing and new technologies to support business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with IT governance and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
