The position 

As an Advanced Business Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for supporting cross-functional stakeholders from GBS on Analytical projects for Product Supply (PS), managing the inflow of analytics activities into GBS with resource planning, monitoring daily KPI activities for Analytics in GBS for Product Supply, supporting scope expansion for offshore projects across the line of business, working on process flow and documentation for Product Supply analytics projects and mentor new colleagues on analytics and business understanding.

You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:

  • Use, develop and promote the Supply Chain Management domain. Adhere to the ADA guideline (AWS Cloud) and design principles governed by Product Supply Analytics.
  • Develop insights and KPIs aligned with the Supply Chain Management strategy and objectives and Collaborate with Product Supply- Supply Chain Analytics and other data domains.
  • Act as a Data Steward for all Supply Chain owned data, including ownership and responsibility over data quality and availability for all defined stakeholders.
  • Performing Supply Chain diagnostics and analytics to drive valuable business impact and improvements.
  • Ensure and support operational priorities by updating and preparing prioritization/allocation files in cases of supply constraint and processing various data files into useful analyses for stakeholders in Supply Chain.

 

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelors’ or Master’s degree within a relevant IT, engineering or business education background along with 8-10 years of experience within Business Analytics, preferably within Supply Chain and/or pharma.
  • Expert knowledge working with SQL and Power BI (Power Query, DAX) and nice to have experienced in Alteryx.
  • Experience with SAP MM, ECC, OMP is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and process data, good understanding of supply chain concepts such as stock outs, supply chain modeling, transportation, and inventory.
  • Experience in conducting meetings with peers, including preparation and facilitation.

Supply Chain was established in March 2017 as part of Product Supply Devices & Supply Chain Management business plan. The Business plan has three parts; Robust, Ready, Effective and Supply Chain Global Business Service (GBS) is part of the last one focusing business through offshoring. The unit is anchored under Supply Chain Planning (SCP) in Head Quarter and is the agreed place to consolidate Supply Chain activities across Novo Nordisk. The Supply Chain offshoring journey has started in D&S, Service Delivery Catalogue is taking form and other areas within Product Supply can soon join or add to the Catalogue to optimize costs and reduce complexity by operating an effective supply chain.
