About the department


Global IT GBS is an integral part of IT, Quality & Corporate Development in Denmark which currently consists of approximately 500+ highly skilled IT professionals worldwide responsible for all major IT projects and IT systems in Novo Nordisk. 


The position


With Veeva CRM being a GxP system, this role would involve the individual to design, build and configure Veeva application to meet business requirements & support reported user issues. Coordinate with vendors for Veeva Implementation and configuration related changes, this also includes Hands-on configuration of all new and existing features including user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validations, workflows, flows, process builders, Einstein Analytics, and other 3rd party applications. This will require to be responsible for day-to-day operations and must have Hands on Deployment experience, Lightning development and Salesforce Einstein Analytics experiences. Along with that this individual would need to collaborate within and across teams to share best practices, review system for improvement and automations and implement the same.


Main job tasks relating to customer will include understanding the business requirements from the stakeholders. Converting the real-world business problems into technical solutions and limitations. Business analysis to ensure the most effective recommendations are made for successful solution. Supporting the end-to-end implementation of projects and solutions from analysing and documenting business & system requirements. Providing end-user training and creating end-user documentation, and deployment, stabilization, and steady state support


Main job tasks relating to process, includes ensuring that the Change Management processes are followed correctly. Having a good business understanding of the Pharma Industry. Plus, analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes and define User roles and privileges, Role based data/workflows & data validation Rules.



Main job tasks relating to System includes Veeva Application Configuration and Customization, Veeva Align. SFDC Configuration (Security Settings, Approval Process, Workflow, Group/ Sharing Management, Managing user accesses, Reports and Dashboards, etc.,). Customization (Apex, Visual Force, Apex Trigger, Component) Territory Management, Event Management. Data Migration (Apex Data Loader, Workbench). Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements and design and build Einstein Analytics apps, datasets, lenses, data recipes, and dashboards using Salesforce and non-Salesforce Database Sources. Set up User Access Control in Einstein Analytics for data security. Experience of Salesforce Einstein Analytics development will be required to create, edit, run & schedule Dataflows. Configure and import data into Datasets from different source systems (primarily from, configuring Recipes to clean, transform & combine data, explore data with Lens, reading and writing Salesforce Analytics Query Language (SAQL) and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL). This role will also require building Complex Dashboards using SAQL and Environment management in terms of Package configuration and deploy the packages to various environment, managing all sandbox environments to keep them in sync. Run comparison to detect change delta. Review audit logs to control/track changes and set up new sandbox and manage sandbox refresh



Main job tasks Relating to Vendors includes performing as a functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders. Coordinate vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees. Ensure enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing monitoring are being accomplished. Ensure to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance. Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required and identify and Implement continuously enhance efficiencies associated with vendor management plus produce fulfilment.



  • Graduates having bachelor’s degree with relevant experience, BE/B.Tech
  • 4+ years of experience working with SFDC Configuration and customisation, 1+ experience in Salesforce Einstein Analytics
  • SFDC/Veeva change and release deployment
  • iRep and VMobile implementation
  • CLM media setup, migration and sharing
  • Product Setup, scheduling and planning
