About the department
DD&IT Product Supply is a unit responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support and development of these systems. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business ensuring that we provide the IT solutions and support which is needed to support the Novo Nordisk production solution as well as supply chain needs worldwide. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. This includes SAP logistics modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management(MM), Advanced planner Optimiser (APO), Plant Maintenance(PM), Quality Management(QM), Production Planning and Process Industry(PPPI), Warehouse Management(WM/EWM), Advanced Track and Trace for pharmaceutical( ATTP), Global Batch Traceability (GBT) modules which are among the most critical IT systems in Novo Nordisk and they are used 24x7 by thousands of NN users worldwide. 


The position
As a Advanced Business Analyst , you will attend project workshops and meetings, supporting and training end users and planners on new functionalities. Support the product owner of the Planning Team. Your other key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage releases and functionalities in the IT system, presenting them to users.

  • Actively participate in system testing during upgrades and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Strive for continuous improvement, highlighting system and process needs, and collaborate with Planning Teams to address them.

  • Guide local planners on system and process requirements to ensure new procedures are in place.

  • Support and maintain IT Systems such as SAP S4 and OMP OPR, coordinating with analytics and BI Tools teams.

  • Support governance of Data Lake and other IT integration solutions and projects.


Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent business experience.

  • 8+ years of overall experience.

  • Strong expertise in Supply Chain Network Planning (SNP) and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS).

  • Experience with SAP ECC/S4 integration with APO and OMP.

  • At least one year of Operational Planning experience in OMP.

  • IT experience covering specification, design, development, validation, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions.

  • Understanding of the AGILE delivery model and experience working in AGILE teams.

  • Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Excellent communication skills written and orally in English.
